 We have over 40 years of specializing in critical surface processing and preparation. We've built a strong reputation servicing the automotive and steel industries, offering superior service and quality our customers have come to count on.
At Flat Rock Metal, we are toll-processors only, we don't sell steel. We're proud of the companies we serve, and we're not interested in competing with them. We are committed to raising industry standards in the area of critical surface material processing. We are dedicated to delivering just-in-time when our customer's requirements call for it.

Our equipment is well maintained and regularly upgraded to utilize the most current technology. The Flat Rock, Michigan location houses our corporate offices as well as flat polishing and coating operations. Further, the facility houses a high production, unique 72" Cut-to-Length Multi-Blanking line. In late 2004 we installed a 72" 400 ton Press Blanking line with oscillating cut and configured blank capabilities that now allows us to provide full service blanking to the automotive market.
